ABOUT US

ANDREA TRUEBA graduated with honors in Operatic Singing and specialized in Vocal Chamber Music at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
She collaborates with prominent early music and chamber music groups, including Ars Longa de la Habana and Eidos Ensemble (Spain), with whom she has performed in recent years at internationally recognized festivals and venues, such as the Duni Festival in Matera, Festival de Música Antigua de Madrid, the Gaia Music Festival (Portugal), the Palau de la Música Catalana in Valencia, Early Music Seattle (USA), the Five Boroughs Music Festival at the Juilliard School in New York, and, more recently, the Resonanzen Festival at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
She was awarded the Second Prize, the Special Prize for the Traetta Opera Festival, and the Scholarship for the ‘Rodolfo Celletti’ Academy at the Valerio Gentile opera singing competition. During her years of study, she recorded Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater for Radio Vaticana and appeared on television programs such as Opera Prima: Las Voces del Bicentenario (Mexico) and Le storie di Corrado Augias (Italy).

MARCELLO CANDELA After publishing Celebri Arie Antiche in collaboration with Claudio Dall'Albero, he participated as an editor in the edition of volumes on compositions by Giacomo Antonio Perti (1661-1756), Carlo Milanuzzi (c. 1590-c.-1647) and the Opera Omnia of Baroque composer Domenico Massenzio (c. 15.?-1650).
He is the harpsichordist of I Cantori di San Carlo.
He has performed numerous concerts as a soloist and in chamber ensembles in Italy and abroad.
He has made recordings and broadcasts for RAI (Italy) and Radio Clásica (Spain); with his early music ensemble Tastar de Corde, he released for Centaur Records the complete recording of Andrea Gabrieli's collection Madrigali et Ricercari a quattro voci (Venice, 1589/90).
He holds the chair of Score Reading at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
